Day 3 make Christmas tree

Once again it's me Brooklyn with another post
This time I am posting about day 3 and day 3 means that we are making a Christmas tree. When I was making my Christmas tree I used polyline to make my tree. Or I could use triangles to make a tree. I choose going over a tree and I think I did great here it is enjoy it!

Day 2 Christmas Task

Today we have been doing another fun Christmas task. This time we had to find a famous Christmas tree and write about it on a poster that Miss Berry made. The Christmas tree that I found was the LEGO Christmas tree in Auckland. I thought this one was a bit hard to find the information because the web didn't show any history. But I got some in the end and here it is! enjoy

Christmas cultures

Today we have been doing some writing on Christmas cultures the ten day challenge so we do a some writing about something each day for ten days. seeing what other people do for Christmas. So we put it onto slides and then say what we do on Christmas and then choose a culture and see what they do and here it is. Enjoy!

Athletics day

Hi Bloggers,

Today I am going to talk about athletics day. Athletics day was yesterday and it was fun because we got to race against other schools and try our best. First we had to go in some of the teachers cars and then drive to Three Kings Reserve.

Once we got there we had to wait for a while to race so we played in the sand and had little races to get ready for the real ones. After the waiting was done we came back and started. First the 8 year olds went then the 9 year olds and so on until it was the 11 year olds turn. Then it went into the girls and the girls were had the same age groups so the boys got to relax for awhile.

Finally that was done and we could move on to the long jump, high jump and shot put. I didn’t do any of that so I had to wait. About 30 min later we moved to my favourite part the relays. The relays are when you have a batten and you run around a pole and run back and pass it back to the other person. Once that was over they did the trophies but sadly we didn’t get any but we had fun!

The boy and the dog

Today I am going to show you my writing that is about the boy and the dog. We had to choose who we were going to pertained to be and I choose the boy and here it is I hope you enjoy it!

Here I was disabled with only one leg playing video games. But then mum came in and left a box on the table and I wondered what it was? As mum went up the stairs she said, “why don’t you open the box and see what’s inside.” So I stopped playing and looked what was inside the box. Once I opened it I saw it was a dog and I liked it. But then I saw it only had three legs and I didn’t like it so I chucked it on the floor and kept playing on my game. As I was playing on my game I saw my dog running to a red ball and bought it to me so I can throw it for him. Instead I kicked it away from me but of course the dog ran after it. After him making lots of falls I thought he was pretty cool to have around. So I got my crutches as I was walking out the door I said, “mum i’m going outside,” and I went outside and threw the ball around for my dog so he could try and catch the ball and bring the ball back to me.

There's a boy in the girls bathroom

Today in room 6 we have been reading a class novel called there's a boy in the girls bathroom. We are so close to the end so we are predicting what is going to happen next. Here is what I think!

I think the birthday party is going to go good because bradley has change. But I think he might start a fight too.

I also think that Bradley, Jeff and Carla are going to be good friends.

At the end I think Carla will keep her job and Bradley would be happy from making some friends.

Our hard work out

Today I am writing about our hard workout that we had to do yesterday. The workout that we did was super super hard but it was doable. I wanted to shear this to you all because I wanted to show you how much we struggled. First we had to run a whole kilometre and then come back and tag our buddy then there have to run. After they come back you both have to get on the ground and do 50 v sits. But we had a buddy so we only did 25 each but if we didn't have a buddy we had to do 50 v sits witch no one wanted to do. Then we had to do 50 push ups each and it was so hard that my legs feinted after that. If that's not enough then hear this we had to do 100 squats each some of us had a little brake. and to finish it off we did another kilometre run and then go back to class some of us completely fainted and that was it.

The best soccer goal ever [for the opponents]

Today I will be talking to you about a news article that I read and I wanted to show you

This is about a soccer player Fankaty Dabo receiving the ball out on the right flank and scored a goal in his own. From 32 meters AWAY! By suffering defeat to Groningen.

This is in the news because this was the best soccer goal in all TIME! for the opposition at least for now.  

The best soccer goal ever was scored in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday 2017.  

The 22 year old struck the ball from distance clear over the head of his stranded goalkeeper, which made the score 1-1.

Our assembly

Hello Bloggers

My name is Brooklyn if you don’t know and today I will be talking to you about room
6’s assembly. Room 6’s assembly happened on the 9th of August 2018 and it was
amazing.

Let me tell you a bit about it. So room 6 showed their learning that they have been doing
in class. They also showed some of their blogging that they did over the weekend and
\ some of when they were at school. Only one parent came and the whole school and the
people that hosted it were of course room 6. This took place at Hay Park School inside
the hall. Room 6 did this because they wanted to show their blogging skills to celebrate
their learning. They also did a song that was called the wake up song. When the song
was finished they ask Miss Campbell if she could hand out the class awards. But sadly
I didn't get one but some of my classmates got some. After that everyone went back to
there classes and I had to pack up all the sound system so nothing was left on. Once I
did the sound system we wrote about our assembly. Our assembly was AWESOME!

BAD HABITS!

 Hello bloggers
 Today I am going to tell you about my bad habits is playing games (mostly Fortnite). When I play games I get lazy and I don’t want to get up. When I go to sleep I feel like I want to stay in bed for 2 more hours because of playing games. Lots and lots of people use phones and tablets to play games on the go and to contact people too.

Another habit of mine is that I bite my nails when actually I could get really sick because I could swallow it. Some people even eat the black stuff inside your nails. When you eat the black stuff you put germs inside your tummy and that is what can make you sick.

I am going to try to stop playing games and mostly biting my nails. I am going to try to stay away from gaming so that I only use it for 20 min. Also instead of biting my nails I am going to clip them with nails so they aren't sharp and I’m not tempted to bite them. Once you start a bad habit you can’t seem to stop it. Bad habits can be anything like to much gaming or picking your nose and biting nail even toe nails. Most games that people play they won't stop playing it such as Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft. This are some of the most popular games that if someone starts they won’t stop.

Looking After My Dog

Namaste

Today I am going to show you Rubble my pet dog.

This is Rubble and he is my pet dog and he is my responsibility. I also like taking him on walks to the park sometimes he is the one that walks me. After we walk back I have to pick him up until we get home. Once I found him with my uncle with sunglasses on like this

He looks really cool. He is always the one to stay at the back well all the others come and jump on the fence at the front. Rubble is a relaxed dog I don't know if he knows how to bite he only knows how to brake. He won't jump on you like any other dog the only thing he wants is food, water and someone rubbing his tummy. Rubble is my favourite dog.

Aboriginal Artwork

On week 9 and 10 we did some aboriginal inspired artwork of a dream time story about the rainbow serpent snake. People believe that the rainbow serpent made the mountains and rivers by the snake moving around. We painted it on candies with lots and lots of dots and lines we also put some simbles that cave man use to carve into the walls to say something. here is o my artwork that i made it will also tell you about if it went well. i Will blog you later bye bye.
