Summer Learning Journey

Hey bloggers, today I am doing the Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Activity 1.

So I am going on a voyage for a few weeks and I can only take 10 types of foods.
First I would start to take two large packets of Doritos then maybe two cans of non hot spaghetti, 1 bag of apple and probably a Nutrigrain cereal. Oh yeah I will also take 3 litres of water. I would take this one thing that would most likely melt and that is chocolate one big big block of chocolate.

Now your probably be wondering about why I choice these things and here's why. So I would take the Nutrigrain because I would have it everyday for breakfast and take the water for hydration. The spaghetti for dinner and the Doritos for extra snack food. Also I would take a bag of apples, one  every day to keep the doctor away (even though the doctor might not be there). And the chocolate for a sweet treat.

When I go on that voyage I am sit with all of my snacks.

Thanks for reading my work. See you on the next post.  :)

  1. Talofa Lava Brooklyn,

Manuia le Kerisimasi and Happy New Year! I hope you have been enjoying your summer break :)

My name is Kueni and I am one of the many blog commenters on the Summer Learning Journey team this summer working with the Ako Hiko cluster. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks!

Ka pai on completing your very first activity of the Summer Learning Journey, keep up the hard mahi! I really enjoyed reading your post about the 10 foods you would pack with you on your great ocean voyage.

I like that you would start packing with your 2 LARGE packets of Doritos! Doritos are my favourite chips, what flavour do you like the most? I can tell you have put a lot of thought into the items you would pack and that you have explained why you would pack each item.

On your travels, if you could pick one place to stop, where would it be?

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts!

    Nga Mihi,
    Kueni :)

  2. Tēnā koe Brooklyn, how is your summer going? I hope you are enjoying the sunshine :) Are you looking forward to going back to school?

I think the food items you’ve listed in this post are great ideas as they sound delicious and practical! What are your top two favourite meals? Mine are nachos and roast chicken! Have you ever spent time in a canoe or kayak?

I’ve noticed that you haven’t been active in a while, and we really enjoyed reading your posts when you were active. I thought I would just jump on your blog and give you a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

Happy blogging, I look forward to reading more of your posts :)
    Eliza.
